Experience the best high flying action ever seen in Australia at the 2011 Australian International Airshow. The highly acclaimed public Airshow is run in conjunction with a comprehensive Aerospace and Defence Exposition, making this exciting event one of the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. The Australian International Airshow is a biennial event held across six days at Avalon Airport near Geelong. The event is internationally recognised for its exciting and comprehensive flying displays which are just metres from public viewing areas. Around 500 military, historic, commercial and civil aircraft are also on display at the Airshow so there is plenty of action both on the ground and in the air. The Australian Defence Force, and in particular the Royal Australian Airforce are major partners in this outstanding event. 2011 marks the 90th anniversary of the RAAF, so the 2011 Australian International Airshow will be a true celebration of aviation history. At the 2011 Australian International Airshow, you will be so close to the action, you will feel like you are in the pilot’s seat.
